The CarLock device has different power saving modes, so when the car is idle, it will consume only around 2mA. Even if your car is idle for a couple of weeks, there should be no problem.

The battery of your vehicle can be drained faster if:

- if the battery is older and therefore weaker

- if it is very cold temperature outside

- if there are more battery-consuming devices installed on it
